that's probably why RedHat doesn't have it.  U.S. company, have to 
comply with US export laws that classify cryptography as munitions.

US implementation of their export laws has relaxed recently (since 
around 1999, 2000) but perhaps they aren't relaxed all the way
yet.

it's actually confusing that SuSe and Mandrake (european companies)
can ship with encryption.  i was under the impression that most 
european countries were even more strict (and actually strange)
about encryption.  but it seems that they feel free to ship with
encryption support.
