sorry for asking this kind of question, in my work i usually use 2 or more os. can you share some win apps that can access linux files via win? locally..
Options:
1) explore2fs ( http://uranus.it.swin.edu.au/~jn/linux/explore2fs.htm <http://uranus.it.swin.edu.au/%7Ejn/linux/explore2fs.htm> ) this is a Windows Explorer "clone" that supports reading & writing an ext2 file system. WinXP explicitly supported.
2) ext2fsnt ( http://ashedel.chat.ru/ext2fsnt/ )
a read-only NT4/Win2K, maybe XP file system driver. A read/write driver is commercially available.
3) FSDEXT2 ( http://www.schnabel-online.de/fsdext2.html ) read-only, Win9x only.
if you're still unhappy with these tools, try using VMWare...
