if its on an ext2 partition why not try ext2fsd http://ext2.yeah.net
run service after the drivers have been installed via:

    net start ext2fsd

then you can mount any ext2 partition on drive letter you want.
i've been using write support with no problem at all,
this can be enabled through the registry :

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Ext2Fsd\Parameters]
"WritingSupport"=dword:00000001
