Isn't it possible to tap WS Expositions (if still existing) or any logistics today? also, I believe big companies like Oracle and IBM will not hesitate as sponsors? my idea was similar to LinuxWorld, this will positively create an impact in the IT industry about Linux and Open Source. I remember COMMDAPP held in Phil Trade, it was similar to what you Ricky is suggesting, Q-Linux gave Linux tracks, but it's a pity that few really cared about it.
Linux10 and some seminar series held in APC has less impact, at least in the promotion of Linux in the industry, it just cater for PLUG members. You've seen and taste it all, veterans...and I guess you guys can help.
