Yup i know what you mean. In mandrake i soooo like the convenience of being able to urpmi practically anything.. and with the 1GB+ mandrake contribs and PLF mirrors on hand, that's a lot of software!
apt-get and urpmi + tons of packaged software = linux admin and user delight!

i guess the advantage of debian is that it has the largest selection of packages and supports the largest number of hardware platforms and how we wonder why not all distro have the GNU/Linux prefix :-)
