i beg to disagree with that. since subscribing to the PLUG mailing lists i have changed my email address 4x, and unsubscribed 2x (mainly due to work relocation). this list is handled by mailman (if im not mistaken) and subscription can be cancelled either via email or the web interface[1]. in rare instances that both wouldn't work, you could send an email to the administrators who are also active on the mailing lists.
