yes it can be happen if you intended to do so and if that is the level of
intellectual that you derived... but... common sense dictates us that
digital computers are far more efficient in terms of space and time....

fooler.

oy hinde ah. mas efficient ang analog circuits in both space and power
requirements. mas convenient lang for us puny humans to develop digital
circuits kasi things are dictated by a clock and a set number of values...as
opposed to analog circuits where everything happens at the same time and
voltage/current values can be anywhere from 0 to near infinite.

(di ba mga fellow ECE/CoE/EEs?)

Anyway, back to the topic. Hindi naman surprising na maovertake ng computer
ang mga tao sa chess. Chess is a game that can be mathematically described
(in group theory) easily. Chess playing software usually just use a the
computers memory and processing power to compute all possible scenarios
several moves ahead.

Now, if they could make a software the automatically answers questions in
the linux-newbie list with the mixed sarcasm and friendliness people usually
answer with...THEN, i'd be worried about humanity's future.

The Russian Turing Test.  Some time ago,  some clever programmers in Moscow set up software on a  linux computer to answer email from men looking for mail-order brides.  Over a period of 3 months, the program was so consistent in its answers  that many men proposed marriage...
