i was also considering Progeny with their $5/mo security updates (rpm) for RH 7.x/8/9, 
but decided against it after reading their FAQ section that they do not guarantee, 
among other "disclaimers", back-portable updates. i figure i'd rather do the 
fresh-install-and-migrate-the-configs dance than trust a 3rd-party vendor for critical 
patches in the long run.

migz, do you use yum or apt for your rpm updates?
