From Sun Philippines.Why use Star if you can use OpenOffice? I think they have almost the same code.
Some companies require that they used purchase software, and not use freely available. I think it's connected to some companies' policy that their software, or whatever they buy, must have some form of warranty, service, or support. I'm sure whoever is looking at StarOffice must also be aware of OpenOffice.
