I got the same problem before with my virtualhosting, what I did was, I switched the second company website first, before the first company website, then restart apache, when everything's working well, I tried changing it back again, and I didn't have the same problem anymore. I dunno why.
I don't know if this will work for you, it works for me, you may try it.
