Here's a plugin for Gimp that provides ICC color management. Not yet fully featured, but it's a start. http://www.freecolormanagement.com/color/color_manager.html Scribus and Cinepaint also use ICC, using Little CMS. Though I am not that conversant in graphic arts tech, I suppose that Linux support could be improved with interest and moolah to fund development. These are a far cry from system-wide color management, but these are starting points. -- ___ Eric Pareja (xenos AT upm.edu.ph) | Information Management Service [IMS] \e/ Network and Systems Administrator | University of the Philippines Manila _v_ [ http://www.upm.edu.ph/~xenos ][GPG: B82E42D9][http://tinyurl.com/68dkm] "Ang hindi marunong magmahal ng sariling wika ay higit pa sa malansang isda." -- Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List plug@lists.q-linux.com (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Official Website: http://plug.linux.org.ph Searchable Archives: http://marc.free.net.ph .
