Sacha, Clair, Dong, and myself (along with multinationals and other Filipinos both locally and overseas) have started participating on Mathias Klang's and Jonas Ãberg's course on FOSS Political Science[1]. Maybe that could be a good topic for the Advocacy track. For the Programming track, maybe something on Haskell, Ruby or even Eiffel would be nice. I would also suggest Lisp (!) or Scheme (!!), but I think a lot would decline... :O Also, one thing that lacked in the last PhilOSC was a presence of the Debian project. I reckon that David Moreno Garza (damog) was supposed to show up, but didn't. Maybe we could invite Debian developers this time. =) [1] https://winner.informatik.gu.se/moodle/course/view.php?id=6 -- ZAK B.
