Since the gen-u-wine HP are as rare as hens' teeth it's time to speak with The Printer Place to get it to work with available cartridges. It's interesting that my 1997-vintage HP LaserJet 5 works with anyone's remanufactured/refilled black toner. I've been using Cartridge World's refills in it since I bought it.
