I have a few old programs I still use from MS days. For some, there are no Linux equivalents. So, I use VirtualBox to run Win2000. I tried to install VirtualBox on my Slackware laptop following directions at:

https://slackware.pkgs.org/14.1/slackonly-x86_64/virtualbox-4.3.24-x86_64-1_slack.txz.html

Install Howto

    Download virtualbox-4.3.24-x86_64-1_slack.txz
    Install virtualbox txz package:

    # upgradepkg --install-new virtualbox-4.3.24-x86_64-1_slack.txz

root@Thinnkpad-X200:/home/rsteff/Downloads# ls
virtualbox-4.3.24-x86_64-1_slack.txz
root@Thinnkpad-X200:/home/rsteff/Downloads# # upgradepkg --install-new virtualbox-4.3.24-x86_64-1_slack.txz

Nothing happened that I could see. I tried running virtualbox and got command not found.

So, it looks like I'm missing something important here.
