I've had both installed, but removed flashplayer and have not
noticed that
it's gone.
To learn the installed version of a package (or if it's installed at
all),
as root, use the command
# /var/log/packages | grep flashplayer
will tell you the version. Then,
# removepkg flashplayer-<version>
will remove it.
