I've had both installed, but removed flashplayer and have not
noticed that
it's gone.
To learn the installed version of a package (or if it's installed
at all),
as root, use the command
# /var/log/packages | grep flashplayer
will tell you the version. Then,
# removepkg flashplayer-<version>
will remove it.
I removed flashplayer, and installed pepperflash. Do you have it working
with Firefox? Ed talked about using it with Chromium. I haven't
installed Chromium yet, but on Firefox I still get the error message
that I need to install Flash.
