One owner disassembled Dell's MacOS driver and recompiled the source on his
system (64-bits). Has anyone here done this?

It's a binary file and I've no idea how to take it apart.

The other solution is to install AlienBOB's compat32 suite of 32-bit
equivalent packages for 64-bit systems.
