Hello to all of you. Thanks for the answers Russell there is no error message. The BIOS menu offers no option for booting into anything except Windows Boot Manager. Based on google searches, it's a common problem that is fixed by disabling secure boot and enabling CSM, but it did not help me.
Jonathan: even though I do not have a DVD external recorder, if it were connected to USB I don't believe it would be recognized either.
