I know that this is a Chromebook, but I PLUG has the answers (well Chrome OS is Linux under the hood)
I bought my wife a Chromebook (she wanted it, at least it was not something running M$) and so far so good, until I tried to print a page from her gmail account. It keeps on trying to send the pages as A1 rather than LETTER. She has a couple of documents on google drive, those print just fine, it appears to only be when she tries to print from Gmail that this takes place. I have looked but do not see where it is telling the printer to use A1 paper. The printer is a battle wagon Dell 3110CN. Once it receives the order to print to A1 paper it tosses and error demanding A1 paper in the tray.... I could say something here but will refrain. B-=[ The fix to get it back to LETTER paper is to pull the tray out and re- insert. BUT as soon as I try to print from the Chromebook from Gmail it does it again... The issue is she is always printing something from her email, On her Ubuntu Mate desktop it works just fine.... -- Chuck Hast -- KP4DJT -- I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
