She is printing from the Gmail web browser app and not a Gmail Chromebook app, correct? If so, ctrl+p will bring up the printer dialogue box. In the "More Settings" drop down menu, the paper size can be selected. However, I'd think that letter would be the default size. I'm curious to know what happens if she tries to print from some other web page.
