Actually, there are two degrees there, MS of CS and MCS. MCS is the
non-thesis route, and is known as a 'terminal degree'; i.e. it won't
help you go on to a Ph.D. So, depending on what you want to do, one
might be worth a lot more than the other. And it will be obvious (to
anyone who's familiar with USU's degrees, anyway) which one you chose,
because it will be printed on your diploma.
This isn't to say that MCS is a cop-out or not ever the right choice,
but it's definitely not exactly the same degree.
