I'm very happy with my AudioTechnica QuietPoint headphones: http://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-ANC7-QuietPoint-Noise-Cancelling-Headphones/dp/B000OMKR8E I tried several sets of headphones in the $60 range first and the AudioTechnica noise cancelling is much much better. About the same as my friend's Bose, as near as I can tell. I considered canalphones like the Shure but canalphones are not comfortable for me for more than an hour or so. Plus there's the whole cleaning issue. Right now I'm actually borrowing my co-worker's Sennheiser PXC 450 since I left mine at home, and the PXC 450 is even more comfortable. But not $300 more comfortable, I think. -Jonathan /* PLUG: http://plug.org, #utah on irc.freenode.net Unsubscribe: http://plug.org/mailman/options/plug Don't fear the penguin. */
