Sure, but in the case of off-roading, it's the torque you want anyway. I guess I was just trying to say that even with the very small gasoline engine, perhaps the vehicle is just as capable as the non-electric/hybrid thing. Besides the V8 would burn a lot of gas driving at 20-25 mph on dirt roads anyway.
