You must never have been near an attorney.  

I was in jury selection once when I voiced an opinion that I didn't think lie 
detectors were completely 100% accurate. Because I did not agree with one of 
the attorneys I was almost hauled in front of a judge for lying during a jury 
selection process. 

It does not matter if "you are doing nothing wrong". It only matters if the 
other person listening agrees and how much power they have to cause you 
trouble.
