While we're at it... My team is looking for an experienced embedded software engineer to work on pushing the technology we've been developing (new IEEE Ethernet standards) into the automotive space after having successfully lit a fire in the pro audio world. There are hard problems to be solved, new things to learn every day, and a chance to influence the shape of foundational network technologies. Plus, there are some really excellent people to work with (and I'm not talking about myself here. :P ) and lots of opportunities to learn and direct your own role. Knowledge of/experience with C, QNX, Linux, uC/OS, TCP/IP, Ethernet, CAN, MOST, TI OMAP, audio and video fundamentals, automotive ECUs, and general embedded development would all be very helpful, but the most important qualities would be the ability to pick new things up fast, research and teach yourself new technologies, be flexible, and have the experience to know what the right code to write is. If you want to stick just with what you know and are comfortable with, forget you ever saw this. I'm not in charge of hiring, so I don't have a lot of specific details about salary and whatnot, but the health benefits are good. If you're a good fit and you're looking for a new challenge, it will probably be worth your while to check it out. If you're interested, email me and I'll put you in touch with the right people. --Levi /* PLUG: http://plug.org, #utah on irc.freenode.net Unsubscribe: http://plug.org/mailman/options/plug Don't fear the penguin. */
