Home Automation guys,

I am looking for a solution (for a friend) that will allow me to set up
communication between

1.1. cameras
1.2. water sensors
1.3. motion sensors
1.4. lights
1.5. temperature sensors
1.6. thermostats

and the computer. The major restriction is unification of the process.
Here are details:

2.1. unified protocol to talk to all of them (like a rest api, or some
other protocol to uniformly send and receive data)
2.2. single language to use for writing logic code for all
2.3. limitless nodes.
2.4. simple user/coder interface (like a web page into which code can be
placed to change logic)

Some scenarios to consider:

3.1. If the average of temperature sensors X, Y, and Z is A then set the
thermostat to B.
3.2. If the water sensor senses water email/text me.
3.3. If the time is L dim the lights to M%

If you can't tell the major consideration is unification and simplicity,
including setup of the base system. With a simple search I found:

4.1. OpenHAB
4.2. Freedomotic
4.3. Home Assistant
4.4. Domoticz

What are your thoughts on these and the requirements in general?

Thanks in advance,
Daniel
