Okay, there's a few problems rumbling around now, here's an update on all of them. Forgive me if I miss something. (I really don't want to start doing formal bug tracking for such a small project, but...)
Mangled UTF8/non-English characters - Yes, I think this counts as a known bug now :) I've spent a couple of evenings playing around with this, and can't solve it completely. James, please see my post in the Developers forum. Proxy support - kdf, unfortunately Peter isn't using a proxy. I'll add a comment to the slimserver bug covering this after submitting this. In the meantime - if any other SlimScrobbler users can run SlimScrobbler against an HTTP proxy, then please let me know. The latest SS CVS includes an attempt at proxy support and I'd like to get it tested... The bug mentioned in this thread by kdf is, I believe, now fixed in SS CVS. It causes (usually occasional) crashes of slimserver. As for Peter wanting to use non-English characters in the AudioScrobbler userid, it seems that AS lets you create such a userid but blocks any submissions using it. I created a test id containing an accent, and couldn't do an AS handshake at all; not even by putting the appropriate handshake URI into my web browser's URI bar. So unfortunately this one is out of SlimScrobbler's control. Think that's the lot... -- iwp _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
