Unfortunately, Neil's Windows version of Bryan's latest MPlayer seems to have a slight bug.
Playing BBC Radio 2 Live, there is a 5 second pause in playback every 45 seconds. If you watch the "Now Playing" screen and set it to display "Elapsed Time" on the top right, you can see the following behaviour: - When the elapsed time reaches 45 seconds, playback garbles slightly and the display briefly flashes "Connecting" on the top line. - 2 seconds later (elapsed time 47 seconds) playback stops but the elapsed time continues to increment. - After 5 seconds of silence (elapsed time 52 seconds), the stream starts playing again, and the elapsed time resets to 0 seconds. I've also tried Radio 1 live, and this has the same problem, except it seems to last about a minute between each pause. Reverting to the previous MPlayer version on the AlienBBC site gets rid of the problem, so its definitely related to the latest MPlayer release. (All tests using Windows XP, latest SlimServer 6.2 SVN and latest AlienBBC 0.99) Hope this helps, Chris -- cbemoore _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
