Maybe I wasn't clear.

Yes, of course I understand that the plugin has to be (and is)
activated. My point was that, for my situation, I don't want to move to
"Run script on Stop" or whatever to choose a script (which I would
guess, perhaps wrongly, would have that script running every time the
SB was stopped, until I set the script back to 'none'). I would like a
"Run script now" option.

As to 2, I suppose the same holds for sleep (I do *not* want the
computer shut down. It wasn't entirely clear to me that the "SB is
effectively as idle as it can be". There could easily be a difference
in power used between switching the SB to standby and having it
switched on but with the server not running - for instance, the SB
might keep on trying to connect. Still, if you are saying that this
does not happen, you know far more about it than I do, so I'm sure you
are right.

As to the probelm I mentioned in my other post, I'll report further
when I have tried the debug option you mention.
