The Podcasts are MP3 so they do not use Mplayer. I'm confused - I thought you said you were able to listen to live or listen again through Softsqueeze but the sound was jumbled. Are you now saying you don't hear anything at all again ?
Disable McAfee AV and any firewall you have to see if it make a difference. If you post a log with the d_source debug flag enabled - it will give some hard information as to what is going on. If you don't know how to do this Basically you want to open a command window which has the C:/> prompt and tun slimserver form it intsead of using the systray app. To do this 1) stop the server 2) open a cmd windows [start, run, type "cmd" return] 3) cd c:\Program Files\SlimServer\server 4) slim --d_source You will now have a messages going past. You can copy the message by using the edit menu - Select All, Copy and then paste into a text file.
