Thanks for the help again! Mplayer works fine from cmd line. Virgin radio plays fine through Squeezebox I can't get any output at all anymore from the other BBC feeds other than the podcasts.
I did select all for my log. I'll run another later today and post it here. Do I need to change any settings to get more output for the log?
