Hi Niclas, firstly you need to reconfigure SlimServer not to run as a service. Detailed instructions to do this are on my website (at the end of the page): http://www.jamescraig.co.uk/SlimServer/#interactive
Then you need to turn the 'direct update' mode of iTunes Update plugin to off in SlimServer's Server Settings, Plugins tab (easy!) The plugin will now save your playback history etc. to a file. Finally, you run the iTunesUpdateWin.pl script on this file and that does the updating: e.g. iTunesUpdateWin.pl "C:\My Music\Playlists\iTunesUpdate_hist.txt" You can run the script whenever you want, but iTunes needs to be open when it is running (it will open iTunes if not). Unfortunately you do need to install ActiveState Perl to run the script. The good news is, it's free! http://www.activestate.com/Perl.plex?hdr=1 Any problems...let me know!
