Many people seem to have difficulty installing AlienBBC on a Mac. I'm
advising someone at present, have had to do so in the past, and over in
the General forum, someone is ranting rather than asking for help.

Many issues the AlienBBC people can't deal with.

The instructions do need tidying up - I'll think about this later.

But there is one change in AlienBBC that would help, if it doesn't
spoil anything in Linux. I don't know enough about Linux to tell.

That is, in mplayer.sh, change

app=mplayer

to

app=/usr/local/bin/mplayer.

But perhaps Linux users don't necessarily put mplayer in
/isr/local/bin.

The issue on the Mac is that /usr/local/bin is not a standard path for
environment variables (I may have the technical wording all wrong here,
but I'm sure you know what I mean) although, for instance, /usr/bin is
accepted.
