This goes back to one of those old-school UNIX arguments about what "local" was supposed to be. I am sure that I don't care... but for clarity I have always kept my linux machines (and now my mac) with most apps in /usr - You will notice that various "flavors" of linux will vary on this too. Red Hat/Fedora (which is what I used for years) was always a non "local" distro. I have no idea why mplayer would specify "local" - all it cares about is that any external codecs are in the same path. -- kanoot ------------------------------------------------------------------------ kanoot's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4324 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=22476 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
