Hi, I'm a new slimserver user, and although I haven't yet received my SqueezeBox I have installed SoftSqueeze in order to test it out.
I've installed AlienBBC, hoping that I'd be able to listen to variuos Real Audio internet radio stations. Everything seems to work fine as long as I'm using the default BBC stations, but when I add new stations I get no sound at all. I've added some non-default stations using "Server Settings/AlienBBC", including Virgin Radio and RTE. I've also added a new station manually by creating an .m3u file in a new AlienStream folder. Both types of stations show up in the SoftSqueeze application, but when I press Play I get no sound at all, after an initial "Checking Stream...". There's no error message to indicate what's going on. I've also tried replacing SocketWrapper.exe with Ian Cook's version, but to no avail. Does anybody know what's going on?
