once enabled, it should automatically start any time musicmagic is
started. note, this becomes tricky if you have slimserver as a service
starting automatically, since you can't run musicmagic before the

yes. you then go into server settings, and you should see the "Use
MusicMagic" option (MusicIP was formerly known as MusicMagic)
Then you'll need to do a rescan. "check for new and changed" should be
enough for new MusicIP scan.
One additional question;
How can I verify I'm using MusicIP?
you'll see the "use MusicMagic" radio button checked in server settings.
How can I tell when not using MusicIP?
when you uncheck that radio button and click change. plus, all the MM
links in the browse pages and screens will be gone.
