Hi,

I'm new to the slimserver scene (just got mine last week). I've
started playing around with it, and one of the first things I felt I'd
like to have is a dynamic playlist that is the amalgamation of the
files in a bunch of directories on my computer (these directories
aren't part of my regular music folder hierarchy, and as such won't be
a part of the data in the slimserver datastore) sorted by date. This
would be my 'downloaded singles' playlist. I looked around, found the
DynamicPlaylist plugin and the other great plugins by erland. I think
I could use DynamicPlaylist to accomplish what I want, but I don't know
how to get started. Is there somewhere for people to get started with
this type of stuff? I'm a plenty competant programmer, and I'm not
looking for a place to learn perl, I just don't know the ins & outs of
developing for the slimserver. I've used some examples to get a basic
plugin recognized by the server, but I can't get further than that. I
could keep guess & testing till I figure it out, but I'm hoping there's
a more efficient way to get started. I guess my questions boil down
to:

1. Is there an COMPLETE, SHORT DynamicPlaylist example? (the example
in the README.TXT for DynamicPlaylist isn't complete)

2. Is there documentation on developing on the slimserver?
-What are the CLI commands?
-How frequently do plugins get refreshed? If I make an edit, when
will the slimserver reflect that edit?
(I found some details in the wiki, and there's a couple of
documented example plugins linked from the wiki, but I didn't manage to
find those details).
