Bpa, I still can't get many shows via BBCiPlayer Extras (I'm using 1.9.3). I'm using the workaround you suggested above: in other words, go in via BBCiPlayer (I'm using 1.4.9). But I noticed this thread ... http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?106504-Iplayer-Extra-only-working-when-Dash-is-Disabled ... which seems to highlight the same or similar problem, and arising more or less at the same date mine did. So I tried ticking the Enable box for "do not want DASH streams" in Extras settings, as outlined in that thread. Now, indeed, shows play well via Extras.
