No need for avahi or anything with ShairTunes2W, it tries different mDNS options, avahi being one of them, and if none works, it uses a built-in version (with is new with the 'W' version), so this log is expected. On a MacOS is should find mdns-sd, I think. You do not need to specific any path. More log would be needed to understand "what does not work" LMS 7.7.5 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2.
