Thanks for the prompt response Phillippe, and moving this query to the
correct thread (sorry I didn't see anything about the other thread being
deprecated).

I've just got round to running a test - I've attached the server.log,
upnpbridge.log and spotifyd.log.

To describe what happened as a user/listening experience:
[07:57] I hit play on the LMS web interface (I still had a playlist of
Spotify tracks loaded) and the receiver started playing the track no
problem.
[08:04] The first track ends and play continues gapless onto the second
track. The receiver and LMS web interface still show the first track's
name and the track progress counter on the web interface is frozen at
the end of the track.
[08:07] The second track ends but instead of the third track starting,
the second track plays again from the beginning. There's no gap - it
sounds as though the same track has been added to the playlist twice.
The progress counter on the web interface is still frozen at the end of
the first track.
[08:08] I hit pause on LMS web interface.
