Thanks for a great system. This is useful for incorporating the newer
generations of amps and receivers, that have a network connection but
which is limited to DLNA only (eg, Yamaha), into an existing Squeezebox
system.

I have a difficuly running the plug-in, and I wonder if anyone might
help put me right.

I run SBS on Linux but have been unable to load the upnp program as a
'plug-in' from the 'settings' menu. (I've pointed SBS to the
repository:
http://tenet.dl.sourceforge.net/project/lms-to-upnp/dev/repo-sf.xml and
also tried the repos listed in the opening message:
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/lms-to-upnp/dev/repo-sf.xml and
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/lms-plugins-philippe44/repo-sf.xml.
The plug-in doesn't seem to show up in the list.) Nevertheless, I'm
not particularly bothered about that because I have managed to find and
download the plug-in zip file, unpacked it to a DLNA sub-directory in my
home, and can run:

~/DLNA $ ./squeeze2upnp-x86

But I have a problem with doing this, and that's what I could do with
some advice for. Running the system this way means that every time the
server is restarted for any reason (and during the winter, particularly,
we get many power outages of several hours at a time) the application
does not restart when SBS restarts. Also, if I ever close down the
terminal that I am running this from (usually an SSH connection from
another machine) the plug-in stops. Is there any way I can sort-of
force an 'install' of the plug-in, so that the plug-in starts everytime
SBS restarts. As a bonus, is there any way I can also run the config
settings so as to check and make sure that my configuration is optimal
for the Yamaha amps?

Grateful for any advice,

regards, Atlantic
