Sorry my previous post was probably not clear. You're correct about the
<remove_count> expected behavior and I had left a bug here. I've now
corrected it int the latest dev version (not fully tested yet, though).

Just do not set the <scan_interval> to 0 otherwise, if the player
parameters change, connection will be lost (and the port might still
change, although you have a fixed IP address, this is authorized by the
AirPlay spec and my Marantz, for example, does that every 15-30 mins)
