I'm very far from being good at Perl, but I checked and "the manual"
says that a return without a parameters returns "nothing" which I
assumed means that testing !$var if $var is assigned the result of the
function would work. A tiny test program confirms that, but there might
be something else I'm missing ... oh well, normally at least the 0.60.2
now tests for the proper osName

Don't give up on your plugin. Candidely, I learned Perl when I started
to write plugins for LMS and that was not so long ago, so we all always
have a lot to learn and the only way is to try :)
