Hi all, Having migrated over from an old Qnap 209 II pro to a new Asustor 6104T (Intel-based), I seem to be having some problems running spotify via LMS. I've looked through the spotify threads here and on the Asustor site, but so far no luck finding a fix.
One thing that's clear - I cannot get the helper app to run. I've tried install/reinstall, logout/login (locally and via mysbx.com), change port, and all permutations in between - never says helper is running. See below for my screenshot. When I look at the helper app log, I see nothing at all (surely a sign of something) The system log reveals: >[17-04-17 12:15:20.1836] main::init (388) Starting Logitech Media Server (v7.9.0, 1488878280, Wed Mar 8 14:06:41 UTC 2017) perl 5.010000 - i686-linux-thread-multi >[17-04-17 12:15:23.2923] Plugins::NPRRadio::Metadata::init (21) Register NPR meta provider, default icon= /opt/ssods4/var/home/SqueezeboxServer/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/SpotifyProtocolHandler/Bin/i386-linux/spotifyd: error while loading shared libraries: libFLAC.so.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory >[17-04-17 12:15:26.0277] Plugins::SpotifyProtocolHandler::Spotifyd::__ANON__ (90) unable to write log file: /opt/ssods4/var/home/SqueezeboxServer/Logs/spotifyd.log /opt/ssods4/var/home/SqueezeboxServer/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/SpotifyProtocolHandler/Bin/i386-linux/spotifydnoflac: error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory >[17-04-17 12:15:27.0945] Plugins::SpotifyProtocolHandler::Spotifyd::__ANON__ (90) unable to write log file: /opt/ssods4/var/home/SqueezeboxServer/Logs/spotifyd.log /opt/ssods4/var/home/SqueezeboxServer/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/SpotifyProtocolHandler/Bin/i386-linux/spotifydnoflac10: error while loading shared libraries: libc.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory I don't really know how to interpret this, but seems like LMS is not finding the actual plugin?? One thing I saw on the Asustor forum, though in relation to Triode's spotify plugin, was the following: > the entire LMS is running in a virtual environment that is 32 bit. So when installing the plugin it always gets the 32 bit version, but as the plugins are not launched in the virtual environment, this plugin will not run in the 64 bit environment. Appreciate any thoughts or tips on how one might get around this, thanks!!
