I give up. Thanks Michael for your time but this is yet another rabbit hole for me and my recent (last 2 years or so) experiences w/squeezebox. I started out w/a duet (which was a major pain to get up and running)...my two sbt's not so much. It's just been one headache after another trying to "just play music"...it shouldn't have to be this difficult.
I guess most folks on here are much more computer savvy than me...I just have neither the time nor the inclination to spend this much time trying to play a friggin' song. I will go back to the sph (or whatever the acronym is...I can't keep up w/them all) and keep logging in when I get kicked off. At some point i will pony up the cash for another system (Bluesound Node 2 or something similar).
