I appreciate your frustration buddy and I've been there before (Not with squeeze thankfully) so I'm not going to give you the diehard sell, however before you drop out of the eco system why not pick up a raspberry pi 2 or 3 and install max2play. Very cheap and a rock sold LMS server. It is user friendly and walks you through set up. Just a thought and for about £20 Not the most expensive option.
