I've found the reverse to be true, keeping LMS working has got easier
since it became unsupported by Logitech. I suspect because instead of a
company adding lots of new and potentially pointless features to try to
get sales of hardware, it's just enthusiasts maintaining it to keep it
working and fixing stuff that should have been sorted out years ago.
