Canyou try the following command on the linkstation - mplayer will
tune in to Radio 1 live, decode the stream and send it to /dev/null.
You should see a counter incrementing.

If mplayer does not play continuously and no reaosn is given for
stopping, can you add a "-v -v" before the "-vc null" - this will give
more diagnostic output.

What OS are you running (Linux distro details if Linux).
What version of SS, AlienBBC and mplayer are you running ?
Did you compile mplayer yourself ?
Does the problem happen with Live only , Listen AGain Only, both
What type of player are you using ?
