No, not the latency, in the dev repository there is a new parameter called "Wait for Sync" that should solve you problem, but you need to move to the dev version. What happens is that, according to the AirPlay protocol guide, a "1st audio packet" and "1st sync" flag should be set when the audio controller (iTunes or your iXXXX device) restarts playing. iTunes does that, iOS was but some 3rd party app did not. It seems that starting version 10.2.x, iOS has stopped doing this as well. So normally, in AirPlay, when pausing, the controller sends a "flush" command and stops sending audio the "flush" is used to tell LMS to pause). After a few seconds, usually, the controller teardown the connection, but if you unpause before this couple of seconds, it starts sending audio frames again and the 1st frame / sync packet have this flag set. I use this flag to detect a restart of playing and then act accordingly with LMS. This was very important as AirPlay protocol does NOT tell you that playing restarts, it just sends audio frames, that's it ... So, in iOS 10.2.x, the flag are not set anymore so I have to "guess" that playback is restarting by just detecting that I receive audio again after a "flush" command has been received. Unfortunately, to make that even more painful, iOS 10.2.x has decided that during these couple of seconds after the "flush", it will continue sending audio, but silence frames. So this is super confusing to try to translate that for LMS. "flush" indicates a "pause" but audio restarts immediately which means "play". Long story short, when you uncheck "wait for sync", you'll have this pause/play then couple of seconds stop thing in LMS, but it should work, still LMS 7.7, 7.8 and 7.9 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2.
