I haven't tested this much yet, but I was able to use Google Assistant on my phone to issue a voice command to Spotify and have the song play on my squeezebox! Spotify added the Google Assistant ability a few weeks ago. You need to link Spotify in the Google Assistant settings, and set Spotify as the default music player.
